It is 730 km from Salvador via the BR-101, it passes by Itabuna, Itagimirim, Paraíso, finally arriving at the city of Eunápolis. From there it is necessary to take the BR-367 for another 65 kms up to the center of Porto Seguro. If leaving from El Salvador, take the BR-324 up to the intersection with the rodovia BR-101 and then up to Eunápolis (658 kms); continue for 65 kms on the BR-367 up to Porto Seguro

With the Ferry-boat System, follow the rodovia BA-001 and the BR-101 up to Eunápolis (546 kms), and continue for another 65 kms on the BR-367 up to Porto Seguro. At Porto Seguro the ships can be found that do cruises on Brazilian and international routes, with stop overs in the city (consult tourism operators for details)
